​As a mom and teacher, I wanted a daycare for my girls that was nurturing, attentive to their developing personalities and educationally enriching. I was interested in a place where class size remained small and teachers remained a steady presence. Monkton Country Day provided my daughters with the care and skills necessary to be successful in their toddler years and beyond. The teachers took great pride in knowing each student and each family. Their lessons created excitement that traveled home with my children each day. After two children and a combined five years at Monkton Country Day Care, I can attest to the excellence of care, the creativity of the curriculum, and the great influence of the teachers. Monkton created an atmosphere of friendship and support for our entire family. Although my daughters have moved on, we look back fondly at our years at Monkton and are grateful for the lasting impression our time there provided.

​I am happy to recommend Monkton Country Day to others. My oldest daughter was at Monkton Country for the twos program through graduation. My husband and I found it to be a very personal and welcoming environment. Monkton Country found the right balance of structure, education and fun. The best part about Monkton Country Day Care is that the teachers care about your children as if they were their own. Ms. Danielle and Ms. Marla went above and beyond to help me as mother adjusting to two children. They met with me as needed en were dedicated to helping me create a schedule for my two girls and held me accountable- which was exactly what I needed.

Monkton Country is small enough that you get to know the other parents and it feels like home. I am a big fan op the large playground, which is set in a acre of large grassy field where kids can run and play.

Monkton Country Day Care preschool graduation ceremony (in full cap and gown) was well organized and gave a sincere, thoughtful and touching ending to the journey of preschool.

I intend to keep in touch with the families that we met there, as our children are now good friends and I feel a strong connection to the parents.
Parents are very involved and the school welcomes volunteers. I am happy to recommend Monkton Country Day Care, and would be happy to answer any questions of potential parents.

MCDC is a warm and inviting preschool environment. My children are happy to go to school each day and feel safe and comfortable to learn and explore with their teacher. What more could a parent want for their kiddos? I highly recommend MCDC to anyone looking for high quality childcare.

I greatly appreciate all of the faculty and staff at MCDC. They are dedicated to teaching and having our children in a safe environment. I love that the students are able to go outside in all types of weather. I think that it's great you offer parents night out. It is a great opportunity for all.
